Just so we're clear, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever. I remain open-minded enough to admit LeBron still has time to pass him. Another title or two from LeBron along with the all-time scoring mark, and being second or third in career assists, would be a heavy case to argue. But...

The NFL schedule-makers decided to move forward as though nothing was amiss about this 2020 season. One could imagine Roger Goodell yelling over a Zoom call to the rest of his league executives, "The Shield must march on!" So despite real concerns about whether the league will be able to actually...

"With the 26th pick of the first round, the Packers select Jordan Love and a migraine headache." Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur made a bold move, perhaps the boldest of the 2020 NFL Draft. They are banking on a project quarterback, traded up to get him, and set a blaze that will not stop raging...

We were starving on the side of the road, broken down and eating cans of beans heated on the engine block. As sports fans, we've been thirsting for live events, something other than video games, classic games and H-O-R-S-E games. The NFL Draft arrived riding in on a white horse, a chance for the...

The 1990s Knicks were a family. They had each other's back, they battled through tough times. They ran up against some of the best to ever play the game. One thing they did not do was win a championship. And the wound still cuts deep. Charles Oakley was the heart and soul of those New York teams...

Perhaps a disproportionate amount of attention was given this week to the new uniform unveilings of the Buccaneers and Falcons. With a nation under sports lockdown and no games being played, events like jersey redesigns qualify as big news. If we had just crowned a national champion after March...

This year's NCAA Tournament is the never was, the "gone before we knew ya" edition. It was all setting up to be one of the most fun and unpredictable brackets we've ever had. Was Kansas a truly dominant team? Or were interlopers like San Diego State and Dayton legitimate contenders? Could...

When one of the greatest athletes ever changes zip codes , it makes headlines for obvious reasons. But unlike some of the future Hall of Famers at the end of their careers looking for one last payday, this has more far-reaching effects. Emmitt Smith sluggishly carrying the ball for the Cardinals or...
