The Dallas Cowboys (3-5) have lost three of their last four games and are in jeopardy of missing the playoffs for the seventh time in nine seasons.

Hall of Famer and former Cowboys running back Tony Dorsett, however, has hope.

"I see a lot of talent," Dorsett said on Tiki and Tierney. "Come playoff time, you'll see them in the mix."

PLAYOFFS?! The Cowboys trail the Redskins (5-3) by two games in the NFC East. They also trail the Vikings (5-3-1), Falcons (4-4), Seahawks (4-4), Eagles (4-4) and Packers (3-4-1) in the Wild Card.

"They're working on it just like everybody else," Dorsett said. "They're a good football team. I got a lot of respect for them. Those guys are working hard. The key to success is hard work, and they're putting a lot of it in."

Ezekiel Elliott is having another great season. He has 906 total yards and four touchdowns (six rushing, one receiving).

Dorsett was asked if Elliott is better than he was.

"Man, let me tell you something: Zeke Elliott is a very talented young man," Dorsett said, pausing. "But Tony Dorsett? Oh, my God."
