Several big-name players, including Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard, could be on the move this offseason.

Well, don’t be surprised if the Lakers – read: LeBron James – lure one of those big-name players to Los Angeles this summer.

“I want to assure you of one thing: LeBron is going to get a player, if not two,” former NBA player Ryan Hollins said on Tiki & Tierney. “(Who) the players are, I don’t know. I don’t have names for you yet. But there’s a difference between an agent reaching out and then LeBron sitting down with you face-to-face personally.”

James, of course, recruited players to Cleveland. It stands to reason he could do the same in Los Angeles.

“LeBron James has something up his sleeve,” Hollins said. “I ain’t found out what, I ain’t found out who yet – but he is making his rounds. Don’t be surprised if LeBron shows up to the NBA Finals, front row. He’s in that type of mood right now.”

James might get a player or two, Brandon Tierney said, but will they be players of consequence? Will they be players who can help him win a championship?

“When you talk about the championship, the list gets very short,” Hollins acknowledged. “It’s KD, it’s Kawhi, it’s Kyrie. But hear me: sitting down with LeBron James, there’s nothing like it. There’s something different there, man.”
