Le’Veon Bell hasn't played football on an NFL field since Jan. 14. When he plays again, well, remains to be seen.

“It’s really difficult because a lot of people thought he would simply show up after the trade deadline and be there at 4:01 on Tuesday,” NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport said on Reiter Than You. “I think that was sort of a popular guess. The fact that he didn’t how up kind of scuttled that.”

Bell continues to miss games – and $853,000 game checks – on his march toward free agency.

“It’s kind of anyone’s guess, but we do know that he has to show up before Nov. 13 in order to play this year,” Raoport said. “He is going to play this year. The window is closing, and he’s at least going to show up within the next two weeks.”

Pittsburgh (4-2-1) hasn’t missed a beat with James Conner, who ranks third in the NFL in rushing yards (599) and second in rushing touchdowns (nine).

The Steelers will face their AFC North nemesis, the Ravens (4-4), in Baltimore this Sunday. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET.
