Questions have been swirling about Todd Gurley’s left knee since the end of last season. Gurley, who tore his ACL at Georgia in 2014, hasn’t said much about his knee, but he did discuss it with Bill Reiter on Wednesday.

“I’m doing good,” Gurley said. “I’m doing everything I’ve always done in the offseason – working out, just getting ready for the season. Once the real deal start off, it’s go time. But training camp, we got like two practices against the Chargers and the Raiders, so that’ll be good to be able to get some reps against those guys.”

Gurley, 24, was a first-team All-Pro in 2017 and 2018, but he missed the final two games of last season and played sparingly in the playoffs. In June, Gurley’s trainer, Travelle Gaines, said there was an “arthritic component” to Gurley’s knee.

Gurley, however, says he’s fine.

“I’ve been feeling good,” he said. “That’s all I can worry about right now. I play football, so I’m pushing through stuff here and there, but it’s nothing too crazy. I’ve been doing this game my whole life. At the end of the day, you only have one body. Every athlete loves the game, but no one loves the game that much to put their body at risk.”
