Michael Jordan never went out of style. But as ESPN's 10-part documentary "The Last Dance" prepares for it's final two episodes this Sunday, his airness is once again all the rage.

Nearly 22 years after he last suited up for the Chicago Bulls, a signed Jordan rookie card not-so-coincidentally sold for a record-setting price:

To put in perspective just how valuable this card is seen as, Jordan's signed "Air Jordan 12s" that he wore during his famous flu game sold for $104,000, even with his signature included. They are the most expensive selling pair of the most popular brand of basketball shoes ever made, and they still fell $21,000 short of the selling price of his Fleer rookie card.

One would think that Jordan probably won't be getting a cut of that $125,000, but he doesn't really need it either. At last check, Jordan is worth more money than Magic Johnson and LeBron James combined. He even apparently turned down $100 million for a two-hour appearance once.
