If you have the No. 1 pick in your fantasy draft, you have a multitude of options, from Saquon Barkley to Ezekiel Elliott. But DraftKings NFL Analyst Greg Ehrenberg wouldn’t take either of those running backs with the first pick.

“I really think you can’t go wrong here,” Ehrenberg said in studio on After Hours with Amy Lawrence. “It’s such a cop-out answer, but it’s true. But if I had the No. 1 overall pick, it’s Christian McCaffrey.”

McCaffrey rushed 219 times for 1,098 yards and seven touchdowns last season while catching 107 passes for 867 yards and six scores. He has a legitimate shot at 2,000 total yards in 2019.

“I understand people wanted to go other ways, but for me with McCaffrey, he has really stable volume,” Ehrenberg said. “I think the Panthers’ offense is gong to be pretty solid this year, he’s going to be involved in the run game, he’s going to be involved in the pass game, and he’s going to be getting the red-zone touches. So I think just because of his involvement in the offense and how good of a player he is, I think he’s worth taking with the No. 1 overall pick. He’s the best combination of ceiling and floor.”

As for the first wide receiver off the board, Ehrenberg would go with DeAndre Hopkins, who had 115 catches for 1,572 yards and 11 touchdowns last season.

“I think that (Deshaun) Watson is a really good quarterback,” Ehrenberg said. “I think that he’s underrated a little bit, and I think that had he not torn his ACL, I think that we would already be talking about him as one of the top quarterbacks in the league. Hopkins obviously is his top target, and he’s been a target monster the last few years in the league. I think he’s somebody to really look at.”
