Tom Brady enrolled at the University of Michigan in 1995, just months after running back Sony Michel was born.

Needless to say, the 24-year-old Michel is trying to learn everything he can from the soon-to-be-42-year-old Brady.

“It was amazing to play alongside the GOAT and to play alongside a lot of guys that got a lot of experience,” Michel told Bill Reiter, reflecting on his rookie season. “That’s where I’ve learned so much. Picking those guys’ brains and trying to just see some of their experiences, learning from it and just seeing what I can take and apply to my game.”

Michel rushed for 931 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games last season. He dominated the postseason – rushing for 336 yards and six scores in three games – to help Brady and the Patriots win their sixth Super Bowl.
