Khris Middleton plays in the NBA, and is, well, pretty good. In fact, as the Milwaukee Bucks’ second-best player, he averaged 21.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 55 games this season.

Nevertheless, he hasn’t touched a basketball in months.

How is that possible?

“I think the more absurd part is actually admitting that it happened,” NBA Radio host Justin Termine said on The DA Show. “I went on vacation last week, and at least every once in a while I’m tuning into CBS Sports Radio or SiriusXM NBA Radio or I’m logging on to and going to the NBA page so I know what the heck is going on so when I get back I have some type of semblance of a clue as to what took place when I was on vacation. Just because you’re not actually at work doesn’t mean you don’t pick up anything from work.

“So how you do that for four months is absolutely absurd,” Termine continued. “And then to admit it publicly knowing that you’re going to get that type of backlash – like, if I did something wrong, I wouldn’t tell the media. The fact that he doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with that, I think, is worse than the fact that he actually didn’t pick up a basketball.”

The Bucks (53-12) have the best record in the NBA. Their season is slated to resume July 31 against Boston (43-21). It will be their first game since March 9.
