Pay no attention to Kliff Kingsbury or any member of the Cardinals, Tim Brando says; Kyler Murray will be Arizona's starting quarterback

Kyler Murray’s draft stock skyrocketed after favorable measurements at the NFL Combine, but will he actually succeed in the NFL?

FOX Sports analyst Tim Brando says yes.

“No doubt about it,” Brando said on Ferrall on the Bench. “I think that anything that you may be hearing out of Arizona – whether it’s Kingsbury or whoever else – saying that they’re not going to draft him and they’re going with Josh Rosen is a complete lie. Kyler Murray is going to be the next quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals. Book it.”

But if the Cardinals draft Murray, what happens to Rosen? After all, this was the 10th overall pick last year.

“They’re going to find a suitable buyer,” Brando said. “That’s what you have to do. If you want to be successful and you’re in the position that Kliff Kingsbury is in, you want the guy that runs your offense. (Murray) runs his offense. He wanted him desperately.”

Kingsbury has said Rosen will be Arizona's quarterback, but Brando isn’t buying it.

“I don’t have to be Nostradamus to tell you that lying between now and draft day takes place ad nauseam with NFL general managers and CEOs,” Brando said. “But the Cardinals, when they got Kingsbury, they had to know they were going to try to eventually get Kyler Murray. No question. There’s absolutely no doubt.”

So anything you hear to the contrary, Brando says, is nonsense.

“Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah” Brando said. “It’s Kyler Murray now, it’s Kyler Murray tomorrow, it’ll be Kyler Murray on draft day.”
