Jim Fassel Calls Out New Orleans Saints
The former NFL head coach does not have much sympathy for the Saints – or their fans

A missed pass interference call in the NFC Championship on Sunday likely cost the New Orleans Saints a Super Bowl berth.
Jim Fassel’s response: So?
“First of all, get over it,” the former Giants head coach said on Taz & The Moose. “Quit crying. Seriously. You got a bad call. In 2002, we were playing the 49ers in the playoffs, and it was worse.”
In January 2003, former Giant Rich Seubert was incorrectly flagged for ineligible receiver downfield, and it likely cost New York the win. The 49ers won, 39-38, to advance to the divisional round.
“The NFL called me and apologized, but what the hell am I going to do at that point?” asked Fassel, whose son, John, is the Rams' special teams coach. “Am I going to sit around and cry about it or something like that? No. They made a huge, huge, huge mistake. Get over it.”
