Hue Jackson went 3-36-1 in two-plus seasons with the Browns, but he was fired  last October right as Cleveland was turning the corner.

Still, Jackson, 53, said he holds no animosity for the organization.

“I can’t,” Jackson said on Tiki & Tierney. “I say that because I was raised a little bit different than that. Things happen for a reason. You have to accept it. They made a choice to move on, so I have to move on. For me to be bitter and hold that against them will probably stop me from having an opportunity to coach. I just needed to pack up, move on and move on to the next opportunity.”

Jackson went 1-31 in his first two seasons in Cleveland before starting 2-5-1 in 2018. He was asked if he regrets agreeing to be on Hard Knocks.

“I don’t regret it,” Jackson said. “I was one of the big people saying I was fine with it. I think if people really knew how it was put together – that things are spliced together to make a story, that there’s pieces that get left out and there’s other things that don’t get said – I don’t feel that way. I just think the people who really know me and know what kind of coach I am and know what kind of person I am would understand this is TV. This is trying to get people to see a show, which I think does give some insight, but it’s not always accurate to everything that goes on.”
