Antrel Rolle played five seasons with Eli Manning, earning two Pro Bowl nods and winning a Super Bowl. He knows his game very well.

But even Rolle doesn’t know how much Manning, 38, has left in the tank heading into his 16th NFL season.

“As far as how much he has left in the tank, that’s not really something I can answer,” Rolle told Bill Reiter. “I can answer that he does have something left in the tank. It’s just a matter of is it enough for the New York organization? Is it enough for the players? Is it enough to get them where they want to go to, which is ultimately a championship? I can’t really answer that. I think the only one that can answer that is Eli Manning and the Giants organization. But he’s going to need some help around him.”

Unfortunately for Manning, Corey Coleman tore his ACL and Sterling Shepard fractured his thumb.

“The receiving corps, they’ve taken quite a beating,” Rolle said. “I don’t really know how that’s going to help Eli and his career as far as what he has left in the tank. I think it’s going to be still hard to judge that, as it was the previous year.”

The Giants went 5-11 last year and have missed the playoffs in six of the last seven seasons. They open the season against the Cowboys in Dallas on Sept. 8.
