Welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. will defend his IBF title against four-division champion Mikey Garcia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, and Spence knows he’s in for a fight.

“Mikey is very dangerous,” Spence said on Ferrall on the Bench. “He has a lot of skills, talent, has punching power – he’s a good fighter. This is a dangerous fight for myself. This is a 50/50 fight, and it’s going to take everything I have to defeat him.”

Spence is 24-0 with 21 KOs, whole Garcia is 39-0 with 30 KOs. Garcia is jumping two weight classes to face Spence, which some analysts feel puts Spence in a no-win situation.

Spence, though, doesn’t see it that way.

“I’m not feeling any pressure,” he said. “I got one job. That one job is to whoop his ass. That’s what I’m going to do.”
