New York fans can be tough. In fact, they booed Daniel Jones at Yankee Stadium on Monday.

Jones, the No. 6 overall pick in the NFL Draft, hasn’t even played a down for the Giants.

“Man, they booed my Duke guy? That’s crazy,” R.J. Barrett told Bill Reiter. “He was our quarterback. That’s wild.”

Barrett, who is projected to go third overall to the Knicks in the NBA Draft on Thursday, doesn’t mind if New York fans boo him.

“I’m built for this,” he said. “I’m ready for the challenge. It doesn’t really matter: boo me, not boo me – I don’t really care what you think. I’m just going to go in and give it my all. That’s all I can really do.”
