Well, that didn’t take long.

Three games into his college career, Duke freshman Zion Williamson is already a superstar. He is averaging 25.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks for the No. 1 Blue Devils (3-0). Oh, and he’s shooting 82.1 percent from the floor, mostly on highlight-reel dunks.

Will his game translate to the NBA?

“Translation is not the word. He is a person that really can actually change the game,” former NBA player Richard Jefferson said on Tiki and Tierney. “That’s how much he translates. The game for the next 10 years could be dictated by what this kid is able to do and accomplish. Just that type of upside is something that very rarely comes along. He is that special. He is that unique of an athlete with a unique body type and a motor that can run around and has high energy.”

Williamson, no doubt, will be a one-and-done. In fact, he’s the likely No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft.

“I think he’s the odds-on-favorite,” Jefferson said. “It doesn’t matter what team gets him. They will sell out arenas and they will sell out arenas other places that they go. The minute this kid gets drafted, his jerseys sales are gonna be No. 1. He’s a YouTube star. He’s got almost 2 million followers on Instagram already, and the kid is 18 years old. This is purely off of highlights from social media. What this kid is going to do, the impact that he’s going to have on whatever team he goes to is going to be in the b’s – not in the m’s. It’s going to be in the billions.”
