The Raptors are in the win column in the Eastern Conference Finals, this after outlasting Milwaukee, 118-112, in double overtime in Game 3 on Sunday.

That’s great for Toronto. There’s just one problem: the Raptors needed double OT to beat the Bucks despite a 12-point, eight-turnover game from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

That’s, well, not good.

“I think the Raptors have an uphill climb,” Reid Forgrave said on Taz & The Moose. “The Bucks have been the best team in the NBA since the beginning of the season. The Raptors need more things to go right for them in order to beat the Bucks than the Bucks need right for them in order to beat the Raptors.”

The Raptors got another great game from Kawhi Leonard – 36 points, nine rebounds, five assists – and needed it. Milwaukee, meanwhile, got 54 bench points, including 44 from George Hill (24) and Malcolm Brogdon (20).

“Ultimately, I think the Bucks are going to win this series,” Forgrave said. “I think it’s going to be a series that goes six or seven games. But the NBA needs this series, especially considering what’s happening out West. That is very true, and I think they’re going to get it.”
