The 2020 MLB season is happening, and if Astros owner Jim Crane has his way, it will happen with fans in attendance. On Wednesday, Crane said he wants “to get some people into the building” so that he can “sell some tickets and some merchandise and some cold beer.”

That same day, Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott acknowledged that the state had more than 5,000 new COVID-19 cases and more than 4,000 hospitalizations for the second straight day.

Damon Amendolara couldn’t help but shake his head.

“The owners suck so bad,” Amendolara said on The DA Show. “They are so unlikable – all of them. So incredibly unlikable. And Crane, through the Astros scandal, has just been one of the worst. But now, we’re like three days since they agreed to have a season. He’s like, ‘Oh, we’re definitely having fans. Of course. It’s the only way we could do this.’ What was the last 90 days, you dolt? It’s not like [you’re] a billionaire or anything. Oh wait, you are.”
