The Boston Celtics are 1-6 on the road this postseason, but five-time NBA champion Michael Cooper sees 2-6 in their future.

“I think Boston is going to close (Cleveland) out tonight,” Cooper said on Taz & The Moose. “I think this will be the chance for them young kids to break through and do something spectacular (to move) on to the Finals. If they don’t close them out (in Game 6), Boston is going to win the series (in Game 7) because they’re going back to the Garden.”

Boston is 10-0 at home in the playoffs. If the series goes seven, the Celtics have to like their chances.

Cooper, though, sees the series ending in six.

“I think they’re going to break through tonight,” he said. “There is a lot of pressure – not necessarily on LeBron. There’s pressure on his teammates. I expect LeBron to come through, but in order to beat the Celtics, it’s going to take a team effort. It’s not going to be that one-man Herculean effort. LeBron can score 50, but they’ll still lose. It’s going to take them other people – (Kevin) Love being more consistent, (George) Hill being more consistent, J.R. Smith. Those players are going to have to step up and be accounted for in order to get this to a seventh game.”

Game 7, if necessary, is Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
