Brandon Tierney Rips Booing Patriots Fans

The CBS Sports Radio host couldn't believe that some fans had the audacity to boo Bill Belichick and the Patriots on Sunday

Bill Belichick is one of the greatest winners in sports history. He is 235-82 in 20 seasons as a head coach, he is 30-10 in the postseason, has the most wins in postseason history, he has led the Patriots to nine Super Bowls (winning six), and is a three-time NFL AP Coach of the Year.

In short, the guy knows what he’s doing, and any fan base would love to have him as a head coach.

Unfortunately, it appears some Patriots fans have forgotten that. Or at least taken Belichick for granted.

Indeed, the Patriots were booed during their 23-16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. It was the Patriots’ second straight loss and third loss in five games.

That’s the bad news. The good news is that the Patriots are still 10-3 and well on their way to a first-round playoff bye.

Which is why Brandon Tierney ripped the fans who booed Belichick, Tom Brady and the Patriots on Sunday.

“(They) had the audacity to boo a franchise that has taken them on a 20-year . . . magic-carpet ride with the same quarterback and the same coach?” Tierney asked in disbelief on CBS Sports Radio's Tiki & Tierney. “These bozos, these clowns, these dopes, these losers in Boston believe they have the latitude, the freedom, to boo? Are you out of your mind? Are you out of your mind?”

Boston sports fans, Tierney pointed out, are among the luckiest in sports.

"Any sports team that matters within a 150-mile radius of that stadium should be destined to a life of losses," Tierney said.
